Aya Flow is an English language course for children that I helped to plan, design and illustrate. Since I have a background in teaching, I can explain exactly, how we approached the design challenges of designing a course for young learners. There are two big issues while teaching language to young learners: First of all, they cannot read even in their native language. Secondly, they get bored easily. Thus we wanted to create materials which are self-explanatory, vibrant in colour and engaging.
So we took our students on a multisensory trip through many fantastic worlds. Each with a separate sets of flashcards, activities, story boards, characters, and more!
