Created new tones app design for global customers keeping in mind the service functionality and the backend complexities of user charging, multiple content types etc. The new design was created with the objective to simplify the user journey to set tones, discover content with ease, follow modern design guidelines and aesthetically look impressive. The tones app followed a common design style for both android and iOS ecosystems and was first launched with one of the large telecom operators in India in 2018. It helped OnMobile to establish itself as a strong player in digital tones across telcos and launched the same app in partnership with multiple operators in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The new app launch helped OnMobile to increase the MAU from 80k to 1Mn + in over 2 years with 15 MN overall installs during this period. It became the number one tones app globally in terms of rating with a 4.2 rating on the play store and a 4.3 rating on the app store.
