The illustration was completely drawn in Adobe Illustrator, in the final, effects were added in Adobe Photoshop.
Video and audio are mixed in Adobe Rush Premiere.
Music written from scratch is used for the video. Adobe Audition, FL Studio were used for its production and processing.
The logo of the project is based on the Japanese name stamp - "hanko", made in red ink - "syuniku".
The music for "KOI" was inspired by the music of Flying Lotus and Clams Casino, their albums "Yasuke" and "Moon Trip Radio" to be exact. I tried to capture the atmosphere of Japanese mythology and magical journey.
I was also influenced by the Satoshi Kon's full-length animated film based on Yoshikazu Takeuchi's book "Perfect Blue".
