Spirited Away Restaurant
One large contribution for inspiration is the green celestial building that is seen briefly in the beginning of the film. I wanted to also incorporate the sliding glass door of another building in the same sequence. The use of a shooting star as a design for a stained glass door fit well with the rest of the building’s ascetic. The use of warm lighting was also something I wanted to explore with the exterior. For the interior of my restaurant I wanted to explore the use of natural light in the day time with large windows with a celestial theme to them that would complement the exterior of the building. I also want to include a quiet tea room on the side of the restaurant that would be separated by another pair of sliding glass doors. This would minimize the sound from the rest of the restaurant and offer a relaxing atmosphere.
