The New Yorker - About Endlessness

I´ve had the honour to work on several pieces for New Yorker and its always a pleasure. For this one it was really an honour and extra special. It turned they needed an Illustration for a review of the movie "About Andlessness" made by a big inspiration of mine, the Swedish director Roy Andersson.

Each movie he have made is a masterpiece and I´ve always loved how much there is to appreciate in each scene.
There is so many things I love in his work but the rich scenography and color palette is definitely something that have inspired me a lot so I wanted to capture this.
Being from Sweden myself made it a lot of fun to work on this since I have a lot of cultural and visual references growing up here that influenced the result as well.
