Artist Statement
Shelf Life is the length of time that a commodity maybe stored without becoming unfit for use, consumption or sale. A shelf is a part of everyone’s life. It can be small or big, messy or tidy, still it has it’s own space in everyone’s life. It can be seen in our home, work place, school etc. Sometimes the things on the shelf seems useless but still it holds the past and also connects it with the present and also leaves space for the future. Some of these stuff shows heritage passed on from generations to be passed on to coming generations. Every single piece holds a value because of the nostalgic effect created by it. Like these vast thoughts are formed out from a single object. My thoughts are not over yet, but I’m concluding.
