This is a hand - made gouache painting created in an abstracted manner. It is inspired with sea waves and sea and sky colors.
It is a part of my series Sea Waves which also contains black ink and coloured ink drawings.
SEa and Sky I, II, III and IV are paintings with strong emphasis on colour and pattern.
It is painted with gouache colours, which are my favourite. Colours from different layers mix with each other creating colour shades, which are not completely predictable and that is the magic of gouache technique.
It is painted on quality thick watercolour paper,measuring 48 x 50 cm.
