Barrio Swim Club is not just a clothing company. Its a lifestyle that encompasses Punk Rock, DIY skateboarding and Surfing. DIY skateboarding is all about taking nothing and making it into something, weather that is an empty pool or seeing potential in a drain ditch. Its rough and raw and when illustrating shirts for BSC I wanted to convey this style in my art. I achieved this by drawing the design 100% to size leaving little to no editing done on the computer. This allows me to scan my artwork change the color and then send it to the screen printer exactly the way it was drawn, rough and raw.
