While the Halo books are very entertaining and thought provoking novels, very few people I know have read them. The novels rely solely on the popularity of the Halo Game series to sell their product. The mission was to release new book jackets to fit over existing Halo novels which would broaden the audience to Science Fiction readers. To accomplish this, instead of showcasing a CG render on the front cover, I created original art work that captures the spirit or theme of each book. The designs incorporate iconic Halo elements as well as eye catching texture and color. These books would demand attention on the store shelves, and I believe they would get that attention more than the current Halo covers.

The Office of Naval Intelegence plans to buy Humanity presicous time in the War for survival against the Covenant. The Planet of Onyx is a site for the newly public, Spartan-III program. When the Master Chief destroys Halo, however, something is triggered deep within Onyx. Action begins to boil and the Ancient Forunner technology stirs. Armadas of UNSC and Covenant race to claim the Forerunner secrets in order to change the course of the Human-Covenant war.

Contact Harvest by Joseph Staten
During Humanity's first contact with the Covenant Forces, a small group of militia must hold off a foe of new origins. The aliens turn out to be a raiding party for items with religious significance littering the farming planet of Harvest and they will stop at nothing to find them. If the Covenant cannot secure the relics, they will make sure no trace of their existence remains.
