Welcoming Smiles
The art installations use early split-flap displays to form 10x10 matrixes of faces. Every single display can be controlled independently and create endless number of combinations of faces. These faces convey the idea of when we meet, our emotions and expressions spread out to others’, and like the old Chinese proverb: “to honor old people as we do our own aged parents, and care for other's children as one's own”
The Body Book
In between two large scale installations, there are six ceiling-mount and four wall-mount kinetic sculptures. The six ceiling-mount sculptures are focusing on six close-up of human body: eye, nose, ear, mouth, hand and foot. These six images symbolize the process of acquaintance: eye-contact, greeting from mouth … till the body contact. These sculptures are organized in the time line and signify the meeting process as time progress.

Book for Taiwanese People
Aside from the photographic documentary, the artist also invited four famous writers: Roan Ching-Yueh, Chen I-Chih, Shiu, Wen-Wei,Liao Hui-Ying to write books specially for Taiwanese people. They wrote beautiful poems on four topic: family, ethnicity, history and the future.
