As We Pass Through This Night

I have created this painting as a testimony to the teachers and children at Sandy Hook Elementary.  It was their dignity and love that vanquished the soulless gunman on that day.  In those hallways and classrooms the better angels of our nature rose in those who stood love and compassions ground.  These brushstrokes are laid in the belief that the 26 souls lost on that morning can help us usher in a new dawn, that the sacrifices of their lives will help guide us through the darkness of violence that has fallen over this nation.
