5 Yards of Paper.

A collaborative project with Betsy Zacsek, August 2012.

 

The last project in my graduate studio # 1728 at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Betsy and I used cotton paper pulp that was hand casted and pressed on the studio floor to capture the impression of the floor during my time there. After the paper dried, the floor was gridded into individual sections. Each grid was meticulously cataloged, documented and stored in individual portfolios.
