Embroidered textures ('Kalamunda' Dreaming!)

Waste yarns and bits of yellow cloth chindis were stitched together to create this texture.

A delicate lace.
Beads have been used as ornamentation.
Printed as well as non printed fabrics have been put together and stitched with different stitch patterns.
Sequence and beads were hand stitched on a muslin fabric which was screen printed with the texture first.
A lace was created with embroidery threads before a fluid form was created with black and yellow on it.

Simple hand embroidery techniques were explored.
A patchwork of various materials and techniques both hand as well as machine embroidery were composed to create this piece.
