Made for SAIC Communications, SAIC needed a poster to advertise the World Less Traveled Grant, a grant awarded to SAIC students to pursue their studies or specific projects abroad.  I created a mix of modern with typographic airport codes, and tradition, with hand manipulated and torn paper sky and paper airplane, relfecting SAIC's mix of artists who work as traditional artists, contemporary artists, or a mix of both.  I also included recongizable U.S. codes as well as many international codes, to connect to SAIC's large international student population.
