For this project we had to create a series of premium packaging for the already existing Pams brand. I really enjoy packaging design because its not just about the design, its about the overall look of the product, how it works and how it will stand out and be different on the shelf sitting next to the other brands.

 

When I think of premium packaging, I imagine a fancy, nice to touch package with special elements, great typography, and a brand going the extra mile to make their design really stand out. This is what I wanted to create; I chose to design a bold geometrical pattern made out of triangles that can be used in several different bright colour ways, that reflect the product packaged inside. The special elements I decided to use were a pull-tab and plastic lid on my can and a black gloss wrap around sticker that acts as a label around each package.
