Quadramorphic Endervision, Pillager Raid-E0 Sound, and B.E.A.C.O.N Broadcasting. Well, that just sound like stupid nonsense, you might be saying now. You are correct.

These words are just mumbo jumbo we came up with for this quirky film we made together with the team at Mojang to promote their huge annual event called Minecraft Live.In our pitch for this, we called this idea: Useless Technology Boasting. And that’s basically what this is.

We took inspiration from old drive-in intermissions and trailers from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, where they commonly boasted their hats of about the life-changing experience their film would give you.

Statements like; new revolutionary colors, 100% realistic 3D, cinemascope, or perhaps some Anamorphic Duovison, was thrown around a lot. And together with a bombastic, often male voice, these teasers and trailers often turned out absolutely hilarious. We thought, If there’s any company we could pull off this idea with, it had to be Mojang.

Turned out we were right, and we had a blast making this.
