This short video  documentary casts some light on some of the less evident causes of deforestation in El Salvador by focusing on the Jiquilisco Bay area, an area of outstanding beauty with Mangroves and fine wild beaches. This short documentary reveals some aspects of deforestation in some fragile ecosystems such as the mangrove. It also highlight the restriction to the right to access natural resources that some of the poorest local peasants are experiencing due to ongoing land grab by tourism developers, this threatening the very subsistence of their livelihoods.
