It's been a long time since I've played my favourite childhood/adolescent/teen sport, but I was recently asked if I would like to join a soccer team. It was hard to pass up. Everyone was assembled from a random assortment of players, so they didn't have jerseys just yet. Well, as the season went on and the team got better, everyone decided to play yet another season but with actual team jerseys. Lucky for me, the team needed a logo, so this is what I came up with. We're a determined bunch who really do 'try hard', so I wanted to create a half man, half woman face to represent our co-ed team and our passion/desire to compete. Bam!
