Victorian Modern Dance - Cries Real Tears

Artistic Director and Choreographer Faux Pas approached me in need of Victorian inspired costumes for the the KineticArchitecture Spring 2013 showcase.  I created a custom waist cincher/corest style costume for each dancer using different style lines and fabrications for each.  The waist cinchers were paired with embellished leotards that allowed for the movement of the dance while keeping in theme with the performance.  Due to the intensity of the movement, functionality had to be carefully accomodated for in their designs.  Four of the six costumes created are shown below.
