This is my thesis: a collection of poems by students of the Academy of Arts. Towards the end of my studies, I wanted to experiment and do something special and unusual. My goal was to convey the meaning of the poems not through illustrations but only through typographic means. Also, to make craft collection, so I used a typewritten font and an open root.
Since the poems were written by completely different people, the main difficulty at the end of the project is the selection of a tool that will perfectly convey the meaning and will not be repeated. But in general, the experience gained was priceless.
Thesis was made at the Department of Graphic Design at the Lviv Academy of Arts.
Below each turn there will be an explanation of the verse.
violet is a collection of memorable moments about something good in life, about someone, who inspires.
Teenager is a child with baggage of experience.
Dependence on a loved one because of fear of loneliness.
Reflections and observations of the lives of two people on the balcony.
The character tries to justify his sadness and longing for unrequited love, but realizes that he is the one to blame.
The desire to be close to a loved one and deeply understand this person.
When the fog before your eyes clears and you begin to understand the person, but later you move away and the fog closes your eyes again.
March of mythological creatures.
Broken heart from unrequited love.
Problems of growing up which are like falling into a black hole.
Sleepless nights (stars in the sky \ windows of houses).
Satire on people addicted from phones who do not understand that everything leaves a footprint.
What is on the mind can not be washed away.
The cunning and insidiousness of wild snakes and foxes.
The ephemerality of time, an elusive moment, like a road or a sunset that will be repeated but will never be like the previous one.
A reminder that life is short and can end at any moment.
