"Ohana means family"

Inspired by the Country brick house by Mies Van der Rohe, this project involves design an oganism with a combination of geometric wall systems, with and without a 30 degree tilt. By which, the project is a step towards the goal to bring Nature, houses and people into a higher unity. "Ohana" breaks the convention of orderly, enclosed boxes for living.

"In the ground plan of this house, I have abandoned the usual concept of enclosed rooms and striven for a series of spatial effects rather than a row of individual rooms. The wall loses its enclosing character and serves only to articulate the house organism."
