The Seoul Illustration Fair is one of the largest events in Korea's design and illustration events.
In order to participate in the event, only artists who pass the management's rigorous screening are eligible to participate.
Therefore, there are many people who wish to participate, but cannot participate as artists due to lack of screening.
I've wanted to participate in this event for a long time.
Because it is a very popular event, not only industry officials but also general audiences watch it.
I finally achieved my dream this year and participated in this event.
And I was able to display the portfolio and works that I had accumulated.
Most artists who participated in the event mainly sold stickers and goods using fancy art or characters,
which did not match my career and my direction to display my works.
However, it was an event watched by many industry officials, so they participated at some cost.
And the participation itself was very meaningful to me because just participating in this event makes a good career.
I held an exhibition at the gallery this year, and I participated in such a big event and
I think I've achieved a lot of things I've always wanted to do.
I want to grow one step at a time and become a good artist.
