A region that has grabbed me. I just always feel like I'm missing out if I'm not there. The vegetation and the absolutely breathtaking mountains are simply a dream. That's Switzerland for me a huge, breathtaking natural spectacle wherever you look. Unfortunately, everything that is beautiful has an end! So do the glaciers in the mountains. Because if we continue as before, they will soon no longer exist and live only in our memories. So you also contribute a part to the fact that they may survive a little longer. Thank you!

The Monte Rosa hut stands at 2883 m above sea level at the northwestern foot of the Monte Rosa massif on a sloping rock plateau called "Plattje". Below the hut lies the Gorner glacier, named after the Gornergrat, terminus of the Gornergrat cable car. The perimeter of the hut is formed by the four-thousand-meter peaks Castor, Pollux, Liskamm and the Monte Rosa massif with the Dufourspitze.
