APRESENTAÇÃO
O livro “Olhares sob a Pandemia”, é uma publicação eletrônica no formato E-Book, bilíngue (Português/Inglês), com 120 páginas, sendo composta por fotografias em preto e branco do fotógrafo Tacun Lecy, produzidas em 10 comunidades periféricas de Salvador e 02 quilombos do Recôncavo Baiano durante a campanha “150 Fotos Pela Bahia”. Além das fotografias, a publicação apresenta textos e legendas sobre a obra e traz, também, links para acesso a conteúdo extra com informações sobre as comunidades e pessoas retratadas.
As comunidades percorridas foram beneficiadas pela campanha “150 fotos pela Bahia“, iniciativa solidária, voluntária e potente de um grupo de fotógrafos e parceiros locais da fotografia com o objetivo de amenizar os impactos da pandemia na Bahia, em um momento de muitas dúvidas e receios. A ação arrecadou mais de R$ 260 mil, que beneficiou mais de 1500 famílias em vulnerabilidade social. O material captado em cada local mostra a combinação de esperança e incerteza nos olhares das pessoas em um recorte de beleza e verdade, marca dos registros de Tacun Lecy.
O livro mostra momentos dos cotidianos nesses espaços durante o período de uma crise sanitária mundial, apresentando diálogos estabelecidos pelos olhares do fotógrafo e dos moradores, revelando nas suas expressões diferentes sentimentos e sensações no encontro com o outro, potencializado pelas medidas de distanciamento social.
O olhar sensível do fotógrafo cruzado com os olhares expressivos e benevolentes das pessoas das comunidades, tão peculiares, dão ao trabalho um brilho que merece chegar a mais pessoas, para que assim, outros cruzamentos aconteçam, para que sejam descobertas outras cidades dentro desta que aqui temos, mais diversa e com mais alcance. O olhar é a porta de entrada para essas relações e o livro é um caminho para esse olhar.
O público tem perfil diversificado e consistente, pautado pela própria natureza do trabalho do artista: Documental – comunidades retratadas e representadas pelo trabalho dele; Acadêmico – intenso diálogo com pesquisadores, antropólogos e geógrafos; Artística e Cultural – fotografia e artes visuais em geral, incluindo todo o processo relacionado à produção, divulgação e comercialização.
Há um público a ser contemplado fora do Brasil. Além de já ter participado de exposições internacionais, Tacun Lecy tem entrada em países como Estados Unidos, Nigéria, Espanha, Canadá, Argentina entre outros atraídos pelo tema de suas fotografias.
