Visual Identity and Branding for ROUT

Visual Identity and Branding project
For my my final project of T3 I was tasked with creating a Slow Fashion Streetwear B Corp and to design its visual identity.
I tried to create a straightforward logo. I chose to combine the imagery of a snail shell as a representation of the meaning behind the name with a bold word mark in all capitals. The word mark was slightly slanted to give the illusion of movement and it was formed in the similar shape of a snails body to bring the whole logo together.
I chose vibrant colours that radiate infectious energy. As a streetwear brand, it's a given for it to stand out and have bold colours but these specific shades of Sour Grape, Sunkissed, and Dragonfruit worked the best with the brand voice in mind as they were bright, energetic, and complimented the streetwear style.
For this concept I wanted to have a clean minimalist and modern typeface whose boldness and energy matched that of our target audience which was the Futura PT and Proxima Nova pairing.
I also applied the logo and visual elements to a business card, letterhead, and shopping bag.
The poster layouts are structured around dynamic images of people in action to portray the brand's image as a lively and energetic brand. The logo is placed in the bottom left corner for all printed collateral with the website and a tagline surrounding the main subject of the image.
To further evolve this brand identity I developed an infographic presented on a poster to educate our audience on our goal; to bring awareness to the effects of fast fashion on the world and how we as consumers can help.
The magazine spread has more details with a call to action on both the flyer and the magazine of steps we can take to reduce our consumption of harmful fast fashion clothing whilst the instagram tiles have a more concise but still equally effective message.
Thanks for viewing! Have a good day.
