During His last days, Jesus experienced a heartbreaking betrayal by Judas, denial by Peter, condemnation by the religious leaders, and dismissal and rejection by Pilate and the crowds. The personal relationships He had on earth fell apart when He needed them most.
In this series, SBC explores Christ’s journey to the cross as documented in John 18 and see how He handled the relational loss and pain. From outward appearances, evil triumphed as people failed and opposed Him, but from God’s perspective, Jesus was triumphant in fulfilling His plan.
Jesus is Lord over every circumstance in our lives, too. We can trust Him when we go through relationship trials, knowing that something cosmic and eternally significant could be happening at the same time.
