VEGAN M!LK: Illustration for Original Beans chocolate packaging

The aim was to design chocolate bar packaging for a new product that would be in line with the existing style of the Original Beans bars. At the same time it needed to stand out as the first vegan m!lk chocolate of the range, highlight its delicate taste, show the connection between the final product and its origins, and the importance of biodiversity protection.
I have created a digital illustration that focusses on the two main ingredients: rare Ecuadorian Arriba cacao and Guara almonds from Spain. The almond blossoms are slowly moving in a warm breeze, the tree is protected by little ladybirds, the bees are buzzing around... almond petals are carried all the way to a blossoming cacao tree in the Ecuadorian rainforest... The pure ingredients meet and create a delicate new taste.
