This is the concept of the architectural and landscape educational complex «School with a kindergarten». The architectural concept focuses on a flexible combination of students’ own initiative, their curiosity, study and play. The educational complex is open and welcoming, its appearance awakens the imagination, develops the playfulness and inspires research. The image of this complex in the form of a city built from cubes and conditionally under construction. The structures of the building are taken out of the inner space, which develops technical thinking and imagination. The child himself can visually complete the building.
The composition of the master plan is based on a curvilinear natural form, it expresses the idea of a unifying community, the center becomes a nodal point and receives a special status and accent. The social activity of the central complex contrasts with the calm and contemplative mood of the natural and agricultural areas on the site located in the courtyard. A single form gathers individual buildings into a large-scale educational complex.
The kindergarten is divided into 5 separate volumes in the form of houses with gable roofs, descended from a children’s drawing. Each «house» has two group cells to create a chamber environment in which it will be easier for children to adapt. All cells are connected by a corridor along which caregivers and staff move.The school building is located in a single volume, the image includes elements of the urban environment.

The complex is organized as a permeable environment of the main children’s and school buildings, which are grouped around a common outdoor space, the functions of each building extend to the outer space in the form of an outward-facing area, together these zones form an active central campus arena for a variety of experimental learning. The proximity of various functions creates natural nodal points for social interaction and interdisciplinary projects. All parts of the educational complex interact with each other.
