Being a perfectionist but not the best artist, this assignment was a little rough for me. However, I tried to have fun with it! Some sketches may be clear to understand; some may not be clear.

Some things that came to mind about eggs were my Filipino culture. The first two sketches are from our culture, which are Balut and spam, eggs, and rice. Balut is a fertilized duck egg embryo that can be eaten straight from the shell. And yes, there is an actual duck fetus in there. Spam, eggs, and rice is a common meal for Filipinos, and we can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. For the other sketches, of course I drew other ways to make eggs such as poached, sunny side up, hard boiled egg, etc.

I've never actually used this, but I drew a carton of egg whites. I also drew some dishes that contain eggs, which are a burrito, egg tarts, and even on a burger. Nowadays, fried eggs can go on any type of dish. Also what's Easter without the eggs? I drew eggs in this grass for an Easter egg hunt, a chocolate egg with creme inside, and a plastic egg with candy inside.

Everyone knows the famous Dr. Seuss story... Green Eggs and Ham (1st row, 2nd box)! I tried my best sketching it up how it is in the book. In the top right, it is a steamed egg. I found out about this when I ate at a Korean BBQ restaurant, and they served it in a little stone pot. Just like that. Sometimes they add green onions on top for garnish. For the second row, the first two sketches are a quail egg and an ostrich egg, as you can hopefully tell by my ostrich. For the 5th box in that same row, I also thought of the process of conception. In the last row, the first sketch is something I found at the grocery store which is called Just Crack an Egg. It's basically a meal in a cup, and all you do is add an egg. For the second two, I drew an egg cracked on someone's head and an egg cracked on a car. This has happened to me before and it sucks! The last two boxes are turtles with their handful of eggs and eggs in an incubator.

For the 1st and 3rd boxes, I drew two sunny side up eggs and bacon in the shape of a semi smiley face and a benedict with the hollandaise sauce dripping down the side. The second box, it is a deviled egg as a devil --- devil egg. The last two are flipping an egg and two people in a egg toss game.
