Eco packaging for ice tea - Winning project

Consumers want to continue enjoying the quality of natural mineral water, without feeling guilty towards the planet, but they believe the current offering isn’t sustainable (plastic waste,…) nor convenient (heavy to carry…). They are looking for alternatives to hydrate themselves with natural mineral water in a sustainably convenient way. To avoid that feeling, I have designed a packaging with a glass bottle and a butterfly-shaped label made with seed paper. The idea is that when the consumer has finished his delicious iced tea, he can place the butterfly in the bottom of the bottle, fill it with soil and water it, so that a new plant is born instead of throwing away a plastic bottle. It is a really innovative and environmentally friendly idea.

The idea is to launch a collection of delicious and delicate iced tea flavors: Chocolate rose tea, Jasmine Green tea, and Lemon lavender tea. It is a range of floral teas. In order to difference difference between them we play with the concept of the butterfly and its different colors. Each butterfly is related to the colors of the tea (for example, Chocolate rose tea is pink and black).

The concept is that plants attract the butterfly and by planting this seed paper butterfly you will attract more butterflies.
