Ecosia is a search engine. The company plants one tree for every 45 searches, giving you the opportunity to do something good for the environment without spending too much effort. Christian Kroll founded Ecosia in 2009 after a trip around the world in which he was confronted a lot with deforestation. He wants to fight against this through ecosia.org. In 2019, Ecosia planted 70 million trees. Objectives: reforestation of forests, especially the rainforest.

The storytelling to this campaign: Far away, the bird "Theo" once lived happily in a forest. But one day there was a forest fire at the hands of man and Theo lost his home. The little bird had to flee. But Ecosia will rebuild his hometown, he can return and live there happily until the end of his days.
