A new staff cafeteria opened on the main floor of the Oracle Headquarters in Redwood City. The restaurant concept was inspired by
the Asian Food Alleys in urban cities, where they serve delicious Indian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese food. In everyday use, the cafe encourages Oracle employees to interact and mingle. Gensler interior designers placed a long wood table in the center, which is crafted
to represent the idea of diversity and cooperation.

The Environmental Graphic Design project and the architecture design seek to capture the unique Asian Alley experience, with a contemporary and minimalist visual design style, evoking an atmosphere of rich flavours, colors and textures. Each of the areas and services of the café are emphasized with a predominantly warm palette of rich colors. The digital art on the walls reflect everyday scenes from alleys, objects and symbols typical of the Asian culture. For the identification of each restaurant, as well as for the signage of the services, the original iconography has been developed in a minimalist visual design style. Influenced by Japanese aesthetics with a strong predominant of back/white, and overall simplicity.
