Concept
The new project from the architectural bureau ZROBIM architects is a calm meditative space in a minimalist style. Inspired by the resort and holiday ambiance, the interior design aims for relaxation and tranquility. All the materials used help to achieve this goal - a balanced color scheme, mainly warm shades, natural materials, the expressive texture of furniture, and wall decoration. In order to attain harmony of bright accents and basic palette, we conditionally divided the space into two main zones: transit and living.
In the interior, only honest materials were used that do not imitate anything: plain tiles, natural solid wood and plaster with a natural texture. The most striking color accent was the tiles and MDF panels painted in the color of the tiles. At the request of our customers, we made an apartment for them in the colors of the sunset. In the common space, we conveyed warmth in a combination of burgundy and beige colors. The children's room is also decorated in this color scheme. In the large bathroom, the main color accent is blue. In the parent's bedroom, we used blue combined with terracotta.
Apartment plan
The apartment was created for a young family of three and our planning solution fully reflects the composition of the family. From the builder we got an apartment of 84 m2 with two bathrooms, two living rooms and a common space.
Initially, the private area was in the west, and the public area was in the east, but we completely changed it to be able to wake up at sunrise in the living rooms. Thus, after changing the layout, on the east side we have two rooms - the parent's bedroom with a small work space and the children's room. The common space - on the west side - includes entry, dining and living room.
Entry space
Upon entering, we find ourselves in a bright burgundy hall, which gradually flows into the dining area. Thanks to this technique, we get a single functional space that smoothly flows from one zone to another and two mutually complementary moods. In addition, the bright color in the entrance area sets the mood for the whole apartment, but does not bother the residents, because the corridor is a transit zone where people do not stay for a long time.
Living & dining space
The kitchen zone is a place where the style of the bright hallway connects with the light beige space of the living room by combining the materials and colors of both of these spaces.
The dining table replicates the flooring in the color of whitewashed wood and is made of solid wood to have the most pleasant tactile sensations.
Light beige plaster and furniture upholstery in chillout zone have a pronounced texture. With the texture, we tried to achieve maximum comfort in the space, so the sofa reminds us of a sheep wool, and the walls refer to a cave. The modular sofa was made according to individual sketches, the sizes were selected according to the height of our client.
Since the interior is minimalistic, it was important to hide all the cabinet furniture so that it looks like a background for a person's life, merges with walls and doors. All cabinet furniture is designed according to individual sketches.
Bathrooms
The biggest find for this interior is WOW Ceramica tiles in the ELLE FLOOR and FEZ collections. ELLE FLOOR was used in the main space and in the bathroom at the entrance, as all the elements of different shades achieved the effect of carelessness and comfort. And the FEZ collection is on the walls in a large bathroom, all the tiles in this collection differ not only in color, but also in shape. The use of the same tiles in the bathroom as on the corridor is another technique that allowed us to achieve a smooth flow of one space into another, as is the case with the corridor and the dining zone.
