While the story of Anne Frank needs no introduction, the mission of The Anne Frank Center USA is to tell her message of peace, understanding and tolerance to new generations of children. The choice of using Anne's image was not required, but seemed necessary as there is quite a high degree of recognition. The challenge was to treat her image in a new way to give a more contemporary feel to an iconic photograph. The first two versions are probably too timid in this, I think the third is closer to what I'm aiming towards. Please feel free to comment.
