ENTRE EL SOL Y LA LUNA
What do you do when you are looking to challenge yourself, itching to tell a story and prove to yourself that you can make large-scale illustrations? Well, you give yourself a passion project that you can dive into over the course of a month. For me, this piece is an homage to the culture that I am from and a surrealistic look into the US-Mexico border region.
Part of the passion project was to show that my art can be used in a variety of ways. This skateboard to the left is just one example of that come to life.
Not only is it fun to see the work on something new and different but it is a chance to build new mindsets surrounding where my art could go.
