Belgium is a small country, but is has a lot to offer. Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium, is distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings and streets radiating out from attractive squares. The Market Square, there is just something about the buildings in this city. Despite being bombed in World War II, many of its exquisite medieval buildings still stand. My visit to this place was something that was not planned. I was traveling through Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent, and after having spare time on the trip at the end I took advantage of it by escaping to Bruges and spending another last day there. Of course it was a success and nothing to regret, quite the opposite. In addition, I have to admit that I am a big fan of houses with red doors, I love taking photos of them, and here I have had the pleasure of finding myself more than one!
