Project Discription
For this project we had to we had to come up with a childrens story inspired by an African Proverb. The one I chose was "Even a traveller eats a snake" or "Motsamai o ja noha" in seSotho. My book aims to teach children on the pitfalls of peer pressure and is actually based on an expreience I had in school.
Synopsis
The book follows the story of Tommy, a Second Grader. Tommy is in class with his friends when they coerce him into vandalising one of the posters in the class while the teacher is out. The teacher comes back and catches Tommy red handed and explains to the class that peer pressure can have some serious consequences.
