Vyksa art objects navigation
The Art Ravine festival has been held in Vyksa since 2011 and unites various areas of modern art. Since then, about 100 graffiti, murals, architectural and art objects have appeared in the town.
These objects are located in different parts of the town. To make these objects easy to find we have developed a navigation system that consists of information elements and a site.

In total, we have developed three types of navigation elements: small plates, large plates and columns. We have determined where each item must be installed.
Small plates are installed near art objects which you can look at short distances. Large plates are installed where it is difficult to get close to the art objects or the objects are very large. Columns are placed near footpaths if the object is large and remote, but it is visible from the sidewalk, or if a sign cannot be placed on the object.
The navigation elements have to be durable and vandal resistant, so we have chosen stainless steel. The coating is made with powder matte paint.
Information is applied by direct UV printing. Such application retains brightness and saturation of colors for a long time.
All the navigation elements are perceived as parts of the same set despite different sizes and designs.
Black colour matches with the art objects of different colours and does not divert attention to itself, succinctly fitting into the urban environment.
The QR code on the plate helps to quickly open the page of the object on the site artvyksa.ru. Here you can find descriptions of objects, their addresses are indicated, there are photographs of the authors. The pages of many art objects are supplemented with photographs and videos of the creation process, quotes from the authors, a description of the technique and style of execution.
