One Night In Miami... (2020) Visual Effects
I worked on about 90 VFX shots for One Night In Miami...(2020). The Story was set on the night of February 25, 1964. The task I was assigned to was to create the background cityscape view from the rooftop of the Hampton House Motel in Miami. And recreate the event of Malcolm X's house had been fire-bombed, with him and his family inside.
The Rooftop sequence
Since I knew where the location of the hotel, I started researching and scouting the location with google map/google earth to get the idea of overall look and view from the rooftop. Also searching for aerial photo of Miami around 1950-60s for cityscape references.

The house fire was an actual event, so I try to be true the real event and researched and collected the photographs for the references.
