About the Brand
Kapsulë offers unique high quality art décor that is customized to fit any home style. Their items are handmade with love and precision, to ensure the best outcome with the finest quality. The name is taken from the word ‘time capsule’, and according to Oxford dictionary, ‘A time capsule is a container storing a selection of objects chosen as being typical of the present time, buried or discovery in the future’. From this notion of an item being typical one day yet exceptional the next, a big part of Kapsulë’s collection is transforming items, such as barrels and fire extinguishers, into art pieces, hence prolonging their time of use.
About the Identity
A capsule can go from one era to another and still have great meaning, making it timeless. From this notion the identity was created through the mixture of vintage and modern illustrations and style, combining many eras. Since these items are handmade, this inspired the identity to have a personalized feel, through the randomly dispersed stickers on the packaging to the delicately placed illustrations on the branding items. The identity and colors were inspired by the two sisters who founded Kapsulë. The feminine colors, which are lively yet elegant and earthy, represent the fresh and happy feel that these items bring to your home.
