Mechanism Project: Metamorphosis
For this project, I had to create a celebratory experience
through motion using 2-3 core mechanisms
Metamorphosis
-The celebration of birth and rebirth
-butterfly/moth hatching from a cocoon
-main mechanisms: crank, scotch yoke, quick return
-materials: laser-cut 1/8 in. plywood, card stock
tan paper, RISD store handmade paper
