Whiskers' Workshop

This was a project for a friend's woodshop. She called it Whiskers Workshop after the cat. I was inspired by the name and it lead to the creation of a logo which became a sign for the shop.

In the video you can see the whole process from me planing wood to exporting all the pieces from Adobe Illustrator to make the sign. I used a CNC router to cut the wooden base because it was pretty thick and I wanted the sign to have some heft. The other parts of the logo were all cut out of black acrylic on the laser cutter. This was my first project of this type where I turned a logo into a physical product. I really enjoy this process and have since done numerous other logos.
