How to become a vegetarian (2010)
Many days I spent with water buffaloes, Galloway cattle, sheep and donkeys. The photo job was do some marketing photos for a demeter farm in Brandenbrug near Berlin. But whenever I had some time left, I spent it with the cattle. On my own. Most of all I was interested in the water buffaloes. They are fascinating animals. Experiencing them and "living with them" was a moving and powerful experience. Also a physically experience since water buffalos rarely pass each other without "getting in contact" - at some point they did with me too.
Galloway cattle are more distant and it took me a long time to "be allowed" to get close to them, but they have the same friendliness as the water buffaloes. Maybe with a little more vanity.

The lovely animals made me contemplate about eating meat. I am a vegetarian now.
