Last year I was invited to take part in an amazing project - to illustrate a calendar, recreating and rethinking historical advertisement pieces, and adapt them to each month of the year.
This calendar is dedicated to 150 years' anniversary of continental company, which was found in October 1871, a decade and a half before the first automobile was manufactured, and to the history of its innovations.

Sports - football - initial variant
This illustration initially was assigned to early spring, but later became the month of September.
The Continental horse, based on the coat of arms for the city of Hanover, –
is a light grey Lipizzaner.
