The context of this project is based on my toy poodle, Micha. Every time when I go back home at night the house is dark. Micha will always come greet me when I'm home but I can't see where she is in the dark and is afraid to step on her since she is not a big dog. Therefore I made a wearable technology for dogs. When it is dark the 2 pink LEDs will blink to show you where the dog is. When there is light it will stop blinking.
Here is the circuit of my project. I used a gingerbread pajmas for dogs. The technology I used are a lilypad arduino board, lilypad batter pack, a lilypad light sensor, 2 pink LEDs and some conductive thread. The 2 LEDs and the lilypad light sensor are on the outside of the clothing while the lilypad arduino board and the battery pack are on the inside to hide it for aesthetic.
The lilypad light sensor is on the left side of the thigh area to pick up the dark and the light. The LEDs on the clothing will light up when it is dark and will turn off when there is light on.
