// A series of children illustrations I did for the Folktale Week 2020 challenge on Instagram.
I started them with the intent of turning them into small animations (animated illustrations) as you can see below, but due to unforeseen technical issues that didn't happen.
This is what I came up with for the keywords "BIRTH", "RITUAL" and ''COURTSHIP''. Enjoy!))
"COURTSHIP" (animated)
A play on the day-night theme. Heavy usage of custom stamps in creating the different elements.
"RITUAL" (flat and shaded)
Rapunzel's mother is combing her hair. Radish pattern in the background.
"BIRTH"
Maximum simplicity (easily animated). Some fairy dust specks as a repeating motif in all three works
