Exploring Educational Mediums to Represent the Horrific Conditions Gaza Children Experience on a Dad to Day basis.​​​​​​​ "

The ongoing situation in Gaza that has been happening for years, had caused major physical, mental and psychological effects on all Palestinians living there, including children and their education. 

In this project, flashcards, which is a popular form used for memorization in schools, are used to show how destructive the education in Gaza has become due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. A collection of words are presented along with illustrations imitating childs drawings in each flashcard that relates to the horrific events happening in Gaza. The objective is to raise awareness on the awful conditions that Palestinians live in. Usually people sympathize more when kids or women are involved so I wanted to use that, as well as, the issues with education, to produce a set of flashcards that depicts the educational concern. Therefore, it’ll be informative with metaphorical elements.
