PANTOFOLAIO - SMARTPHONE APP
Smartphone app for Pantofolaio, a furniture piece that helps with sleep issues.
in order to fully provide a complete series of user experience, a smartphone application is designed to demonstrate how users actually use and control Pantofolaio the lounge chair. The inclusion of a smartphone application was mentioned in the original Pantofolaio project (link here), but will ne shown in detail in current project.
The Pantofolaio smartphone application belongs to the Pantofolaio proejct, as part of the whole furniture piece itself.
The purpose of a smartphone application is to provide full control over the furniture piece which consists a lot of technological based features. For more info about the furniture piece, please refer here.
A total of 15 screens are created to demonstrate to usage and functionality of this smartphone application.
The application focuses on the four main features to help user with sleep related issues :
Aromatherapy, light therapy, sound therapy, and tactile therapy.
These features aim to help user to improve their sleep quality, hence the smartphone application provides user to have control over all the features they have for the furniture piece itself, according to their sleep condition, as well as their personal preferences.
The aim is to provide a bespoke user experience by having a fully personalized feature and controls to improve their sleep quality. Considering the fact that everyone has very different preferences when it comes to sleep, it is believed that only a personalized and custom control over the environment is able to fully assists user in improving their sleep quality.
