Short Story Illustrating: Samson, The Unfortunate Kid

Hello, this is one of my project illustrating a short story and coincidentally I wrote this short story on my own. The story is titled "Samson: the unfortunate kid"

Samson is a recluse since his mother fell ill because of his father's absence. Every evening he sit down at the end of the alley, watching children his age and then coming home from school. Unfortunately, Samson's fate was not as fortunate as those children, he carried the heavy burden of being the firstborn in his family. He had the obligation to bring back a bowl of rice for his two little sisters.

Samson, by the way, is only twelve years old, after he graduated from elementary school he works for the pick pick of the flour sacks at a factory near his home-not too close actually, maybe a mile away. But he doesn't have a bicycle or any other vehicle, so he's forced to walk in heavy boots. Trips to the factory were not always smooth, sometimes meeting stray dogs or group of bully who abuse people. As a result, he often returned home covered in lesions.

His greatest hope is that of going to school or taking English classes, he said that he wanted to study abroad in order to take his mother to the most advanced hospital in the world. The angel was admired to hear Samson's prayer each afternoon at the end of the alley, so he too prayed for Samson's happiness and dreams.
