Filmmaker Kevin Smith is without-a-doubt someone, who embraces his own quirks in the creative work he does. With genres-of-their-own movies like Clerks and the Jay and Silent Bob saga, you’ve probably seen him doing that. Here, he elaborates on it.
Hearing this quote for the first time immediately made me save it for later, and now, while working with it, it encouraged me to try new things in this project. Without the indirect encouragement, I wouldn't have dared to create such a funky character design (let alone animate it!) or deface the final animation with moving scribbles. Now here I am, one small step braver.
